This famous sentence came from the "Tengwang Pavilion Preface"《滕王阁序》, which was created by Wang Bo (王勃), a literati in the Tang Dynasty. Calligraphy written in semi-cursive script style.
The sentence roughly translates to:
Sunset cloud flying along the solo crane, with color of river and sky merging into one endless backdrop.
落霞與孤鶩齊飛,秋水共長天一色
出自唐朝王勃所作《滕王阁序》
